I have all of Leonard's records, and enjoy them! I especially like his Trek-oriented ones, like the one about Leila Kalomi, "Once I Smiled." I should put together scenes from that episode to that song in a video! Or someone should...
Thanks for posting these videos! But "The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins" is just plain embarrassing to watch....
I do edit video, but the limitation is time. But later in the year (things slow down in summer) if I get the chance I'll do it, and post it on the blog!
"Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship, Enterprise. Its five-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations. To boldly go where no man has gone before."
Spock - Mr. Leonard Nimoy
"My folks came to US as immigrants, aliens, and became citizens. I was born in Boston, a citizen, went to Hollywood and became an alien." (Leonard Nimoy)
Majel Barrett and Gene Roddenberry
Quark - Armin Shimerman
Quark: 'The way I see it, Hew-mons used to be a lot like Ferengi: greedy, acquisitive, interested only in profit. We're a constant reminder of a part of your past you'd like to forget.' Sisko: 'We don't have time for this...' Quark: 'But you're overlooking something: Hew-mons used to be a lot worse than the Ferengi. Slavery. Concentration camps. Interstellar wars. We have nothing in our past that approaches that kind of barbarism. You see? We're nothing like you. We're better.'
The new Scotty: Simon Pegg
"I like this ship! It's exciting"
Data - Brent Spiner
"I chose to believe that I was a person, that I had the potential to become more than a collection of circuits and subprocessors."
Tuvok - Tim Russ
"Without the darkness how would we recognize the light? Don't fear your negative thoughts. They're part of you. They're a part of every living being. To pretend it doesn't exist is to create an opportunity for it to escape."
Thy'lek Shran - Jeffrey Combs
"The Vulcans say that the desert teaches men the meaning of endurance, but it's the ice that forges real strength."
